To keep the beautiful crinkle effect intact, it's recommended to wash the dress in cold water.

After washing, gently twist the garment to remove excess water, then tie it in a knot while it's still twisted. Leave it like this for 2 minutes, untie the knot, and lay the garment flat to dry.

Do Not Iron.
If it doesn't need washing but someone accidently ironed out the crush (yes this happens often), simply give the garment a light spray with water, twist and re-crush with hands.
